    Ran 2 6s tonight. 22/56 gearing.

    Inner rear joint snapped.
Im going to run low grip pmt slicks instead and see if it helps.

You keep breaking stuff with those GRPs. Have you thought about just running the stock tires or is that not an option at this point?

My second xo is converted back to stock.
Its working great for speed runs.

Ill give the pmt's a try and if i keep breaking axles its back to stock.

Btw snapped inner joint last night.
So they last ~2-3 6s packs

In what situation are you breaking the joints though? Is it when you're accelerating or any specific situation? also what settings are you running on your ESC?

    Avcr =100% decreased punch
dragbrake and initial brake reduce to 15% on skyrc beast.

Not sure if I kill them during braking or acceleration.

AVC is one thing, but you'll also need to change the punch setting in the ESC itself. The AVC is merely like a traction control system, not a true punch setting adjustment, so you'll need to dial that back a bit.

Ran my second xo with stock tires.
    25+ 100mph runs.
stepped up to 8s and did a couple of 90mph runs.
Hit full throttle and got air born at 100mph.

8s with 5892 got some insane acceleration!
    Broke one tie rod.

This thing is just getting slower.
Factory tires took care of the axle problem.

Now with 43t pinion and 48 spur 1340kv motor its down to 85 mph.
I bet that my move jumping to a single 6s battery instead of running paralell just caught up on me.

I have been using foam tyres on mine after the first 10 runs. I balanced the rubber wheels they still distort at speed and cause lots of speed robbying for the car. With the rubber wheels it run 135k's put the foam wheels on next run was 180k's with no other changes.
Now with a bit of other mods I'm doing 240k's for most runs and have never broken a drive train part.

what axles are you using? have you thought of using MIP axles?

may want to try foams, they will offer some slippage under hard acceleration from a dig more so that your PMT's

Tekno has the M6 drive shafts, but they might not fit the XO-1, but you might be able to use the XO-1 axles, and the Tekno shafts with a little mod work

The inner ball joint connected to the differential and the outer ball joint on the splined shaft are the weak spots. Ive not found anything to replace those. Do you have a link to the tekno shaft?
    is it tkr6852x?

that's the one. it looks like it has a part that connects to the differential that might be tougher that the stock. also the dogbone style eliminates the splined shaft. i saw a forum where somebody changed out the stub-axle to the xo stubs. you might also be able to find it without all the extra hubs and stuff, since you probably want to stay with the XO aluminium.

MIP might need a slash 18 mm adapter from rc hornet.
Tekno still got some weak spots also.

    Jumped down to a 1550kv 5874 with 43t pinion.
Did 109 and ended up killing my 8s esc and battery.

Did a full setup for both my xo's.
Just like Ive noticed IRL the stock setup is not optimal.

And I used a chassis setup system to dial in camber and toe.
And my corner weight is now as i want it.

If it pull to the side during acceleration corner weight might be the main issue.

My street tweaked xo had good suspension and weight setup.
Camber was too much off in the rear.
Had 2.5* and now its 0.5*.

From last photo you changed the position of the rear shocks...can you post how to?
And why changed it? To have more easy acess to change pinion's?

People swap the side the springs are on so the larger pinion gears do not hit the spring or the a-arm

Usually when people swap carriers or A-arms it may be to reduce the rear toe in angle.
Not sure exactly on the xo-1 but that would be my guess.
