Wow, $120 for the set... I think these will be a replace as they break part. No issues with my arms yet, but lighter weight does sound good.

Wow, those aren't cheap.I think I'll stick to stock, no thank you...
Manager at LHS ~7 Years. I've seen some stuff lol
Considering the price difference from a stock revo to RPM is about 400% to upgrade, the 200% price difference to upgrade the x-maxx arms isn't so bad actually.
"RED"
Don't forget, the price is "suggested retail". Wait until Tower Hobbies or Amain marks them down. I'll bet you can get a full set for about $80. Not bad considering the warranty and they're made in the USA.
Definitely would love to pick up a white set myself. I am just glad to hear they are available for X Maxx
I wonder will RPM release anything else for the X-Maxx?!?!

Hope shock towers with more adjustable holes
i like the 'universal fit' deal. then you can just keep one spare set in your box instead of a spare left and a spare right set.

Way too expensive, haven't even broke a stock one yet so no thanks.
I'm from rip off Britain
yeah that's deff a little steep the only people I see buying them are the ones doing a lot of jumping or bad drivers like my self who like to cart wheel at 50+mphPro2a probably done a few of them
haha
Plastic (stock) and nylon (RPM??) arms will take a few knocks - flex a little where the alloys won't, but for 4x stock price, I would have expected a couple of extra mounting points on the RPM.
I've gone alloy as I don't plan on dropping mine 50'+ from a cherry picker / jump over houses and like 'bling', plus the alloy arms give shock mounting options.

I got a full set plus the rear carriers from FFRC, $420.00. The best comes at a price. I don't worry about them anymore, had them for 3 months, no broken tie bars either.
When I put my CNCs on all of the stock composites were warped and that is not on purpose. 2 were cracked on the uppers. I love the CNCs and once the sticker shock was done, i'm fine with them. That ends the next step for my bombproofing my rig.
I'm all for rpm and their products are great, but I see one fundamental problem with them. Since the X is a very heavy truck and the arms can go through major stress. RPM arms are designed to flex (a little) so it absorbs the impact vs cracking. The arms could flex enough that the dogbone might slip out of the drive cup and you would damage it by flinging it around because it's not connected. Then again, rpm might have designed the arms to prevent this. We will have to see.

Great news, Considering the Revo arms are 15 a set and the true trak is 50 bucks , The price isn't that bad, Have to remember this thing is huge, I'll be buying them when/if I break the stockers,
TGN shows them in stock. http://www.tgndistributing.com/rpm-t...arm-black.html
edit: Oops, didn't see that the e-bay link is the same retailer.![]()
Just found an option for a full set for under $100 on ebay from a reputable sellerfree shipping for orders over $68 so if you buy all 4 sets for your X-Maxx it'll come to $99.96 any takers?

I bought a full set of stock A arms on eBay for $32 that someone had take off their X-maxx as soon as they bought it so they were never used. It's much more economical to replace broken ones. IMO.
X Maxx ERBE MERV
I only need/want the lowers. My uppers are DRC & they haven't designed the lowers yet.
Since the lowers are so much bigger, I'd pay a larger portion if someone wanted to split a full set?
I just broke my stock lower Aarm yesterday...anyone have a review on the rmp ones...at my LHS the stock one is $10 and Rpm lower n top set is $26.

I have them and like them. I learned the hard way, that you need to use captured hinge pins. If you don't the hinge pin will slide out especially on warm days.
I had this happen with the pins. What are "captured hinge pins" and where would I find them?
Mrbails, captured hinge pins are basically screws with a long shoulder used as the pivot or hinge. The head of the screw "captures" the a-arm on one side while the nut "captures" the a-arm on the other side. RPM lists what most people are using on their website but for easy reference, they recommend CEN #GS025 hinge pins - http://cenracing.shptron.com/p/gs025...inge-pin-4mx56
Has anyone had issues with the rpm arms bending and the cvd pop out of the cups
