    Light bar installed

Thought it would be cool to do a bit of night driving. Mounted great on the tbone bumper.

Looking good, just curious why the huge extra battery pack, you did not want to connect it to the rx?

Those light bars typically need 12v for optimal brightness. Some won't even light up on 6v. You can try a BEC. I've used this one in two of my cars. It could be even brighter running 12v vs 7.4v if that is a 2s battery.

Was curious, how interesting would a video be with,

    gopro+gopro phone app+night+lightbar?

I'm pretty sure the lightbar would be bright enough to see clearly.

Tried driving with just the gopro app on the phone. Huge delay so that's a no.
Need to adjust the light higher to get some distance. Vid doesn't really show how far or bright it casts. You can tell by the reflection off of walls though.

Be careful when using the gopro streaming. I read that your transmitter and the gopro uses 2.4ghz and it interferes with each other. That person lost control of his car when he drove it further out.

Good to know. I can't see ever using it for this again.
