Top pic is showing how far the stub axle goes inside the rim from the inside and bottom pic is showing how far the threads stick out from the rim from the outside. Is there something wrong? Do I need another part or something? Probably just missing something so simple

Those are teknos which means it has a 6mm stub axle compared to stock 5mm stub axle. You will have to drill you hole bigger on your rims.

Alright. I'm gonna take another look at everything Bc I put some other wheels on there yesterday when I buttoned everything up after putting the new driveshafts on. The wheels in the post above are the stock talons. But thank you G-Pede

After further review, I've come to the conclusion that the Tekno hex (left) has a bigger hole for the stub axle than the stock pede hex (right)....neat

My problem is that all of my stock talons and hexes have been stripped so I super glued the hexes into the rim. So now I'll have to pop those out and order another set of Tekno hexes to use my talons.

That's because tekno has a 6mm stub axle and stock is 5mm

Upgrade to 17mm wheels and get 17mm adapters and you won't have problems stripping out wheels and have to glue hex in them....

I just ordered these proline mashers and they have a 12mm hex. Are they supposed to or not? I'm not sure. I also recently ordered 17mm hex adapters from Tekno. Will they be compatible with these?

Their 12mm wheels should bolt up to your regular hexes on the teknos

I am missing something. The whole point of me ordering these proline wheels was to upgrade to a 17mm hex. I'm pretty confused.
I don't wanna strip these new wheels like I did the stock ones.

These are the wheels you need.http://m.ebay.com/itm/Pro-Line-2755-...150?nav=SEARCH
They don't come premounted you have to mount your own.

Just keep a check on the tightness of your wheels very often and they should last you. There's a couple of ppl on here who run big power systems and still use 12mm wheels.

As tight as possible, but be careful if you go all Hercules on them you could strip the nut or stub axle.

I figured you did. I don't really know how to do that and I haven't really looked into it so it's easier for me to just buy premounted

It's pretty easy, I was the same way when I first got into this hobby. After glueing a couple sets yourself you'll tell yourself Wow that wasn't that bad. Plus when you glue your own sets you can tape them.

Yeah I heard about people taping them.
I just looked on teknos sight and they have these aluminum 12mm hexes. You think would be good or would they just probably strip the hex easier?

I've heard the tekno plastic hexes are crappy, so I would get the aluminum ones.

Man, this thing looks amazing with these.
I've already come across or problem. The side of the tire rubs against the shock guard when turning. You guys just take the guards off or has someone modded the guards to fit without rubbing?

I made the same mistake before, I had to dremel the shocks guards down, or you could just take them off in the front.
