    Can brushed motor overheat?

I have a quadcopter that uses brushed motors gear down to fly. They're not coreless they're actual brushed. Anyway, I noticed that the motors don't seem to last very long? I usually run 2 or 3 batteries at a time and don't see anything saying you can't but after the first flight, they feel pretty hot! Is this contributing to their low life span? If not what is?

And yes I did contact the manufacture and they put me on hold for 5 HOURS! Never even answered my question

Didn't know Traxxas made a brushed quad copter....

Any electric motor can be damaged from overheating.

He never said Traxxas, he just was says "quadcopter" in general. Invento, is it a "chinese" brand so to speak?
