That slash 2wd ultimate idea might be interesting. Maybe they could do a lot version that doesn't have any electronics to cut the price down a little.

Alright so was looking through the collection of vehicles today and found my old drift car I haven't used in years. I wonder is traxxas will ever make a touring car/drift car but a completely new design that also has the standard 190-200mm body size.

A new 4-Tec, offer it with street and drift wheels, along with the TSM that has a drift mode.

How about a Drift car, solid axle crawler or a LaTrax 1/18 buggy?
The return of the Nitro-4tec also sounds cool.

The latrax buggy would be a easy one for traxxas. They would probably switch bumpers. body posts and tires and call it a new rc

Personally I don't own a latrax but what held me back from getting one was hearing how the diffs strip so easily and there is no steel upgrade as traxxas hasn't gotten on that yet. They would have to release metal ring and pinions first lol.

Update the Rustler/Bandit to make them competitive racers. 1/8 buggy and truggy.

Personally, I want a updated 1/10 4x4 Rustler with truggy style wheels/tires. Runs on a single 2S lipo. To me that's the ultimate basher .
    Traxxas please sell kits!

Here you go Traxxas, a factory version of this would be awesome.

It looks like nitro continues its downward slope in popularity. Its big draw back in the day was its almost unlimited run time, compared to the 10 - 15 minutes of its electric counterparts; along with lots of speed. But ESC, motor and battery technology have made the electric side of the house just as fast (faster, actually), and the battery runtimes are to the point were you are ready for a break when the battery dies.

Along those lines, it seem like Traxxas has listened to the gaggle of us that have been screaming for a new 4-Tec. The body looks cool, but the chassis looks like it will be very versatile. I am looking forward to the truck bodies that come out for it!!!

So, next on the list for wants and wishes.... I want a Traxxas lanyard, with a safety release so I use it at work...

The new 4tec looks great as does the new crawler truck.

I would love to see a few different vehicles to be released.

    1. New factory racers like the old SRT and TCP. A new race truck, buggy, and short course with mid motor and rear motor configuration and all the tuning options of the other brands like AE, Losi, etc.

    2. A true short course truck based upon the traxxas torq series with a solid rear axle.

    3. A new line of 1/8 buggy's and truggies. The slash 4x4 has proven to be a competitive racer. I would love to see basher 1/8 vehicles and some race derived versions.

    4. Kit versions of the more popular vehicles that include several of the factory option parts.

Slash 4x4 to trail or crawler truck

I planned out a Slash 4x4 trail truck idea and found this guy's set up. Looks awesome. The Slash has got to be one of the most versatile platforms out there. I have a lowered one for street racing, a stretched 2wd for a 1/5 scale truck body and now this trail truck should be a fun build to, check it out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ir3yswlG8rE

Hey Bob, we already suggested this to Traxxas many years ago. Unfortunately, I see no light at the end of the tunnel.

    If only

I am currently converting my own revo 2.5 to gasoline...

But if it where to come stock with a ported gasoline .28, a resonator tuned pipe, 200+mpg capabilities(not that it matters), and do 0-60 at all, I would be all over it!
