    Paddle tires, who's run them?

Our local Facebook RC page is doing a sand drag & I just don't want to show up. I wanna show, kick some butt and then leave, lol.

So who has run sand paddles if I may ask?

Can someone recommend a good sand paddle & wheel for my X? Some kind of beadlock system I would guestimate?

I already have like3 sets of those adapters so I'm good to go for 1/5.

Would the sand be destructive? It would be fun to try.

I know a lot of people have the Mad Max adapters, based on their description on fleabay they say they are made to fit HPI Baja "trucks". So would the adapters would work with those rims I linked to?

I'm gonna order both and try and figure out what tires will work best later. Thanks for the info.

I have very good results with the stock tires in the sand. Not too sure paddles are going to make a big difference especially if they are narrower. The stockers offer very good float with a good bite.

Stock tires work very well in sand, enough traction to break front and rear ring and pinion. I've broke many on the beach. There's so much traction you can wheelie on the beach and hit the breaks to hard you will front flip just like on grass. I'm geared 20/46 and can run at the beach without overheating

Wow, it took 8 months to finally get a response. I thought it was a good question. Thanks Dirtdiver. I've since bought the Sand Blasters, 1st link in Crazy's post. All rears. No review, haven't run them yet.

Paddles would be cool... but I can tell you they aren't needed with the xmaxx. I regularly hit the dunes with our RZR and the xmaxx can climb stuff my RZR can't.
