    Broken driveline

I recently broke the drive shaft and was wondering what would be the best replacement since there are so many out there (I will have standard size tires and a vxl system). Thx

MIP x dutys are always a good choice.

I wonder if they would work on a Telluride.

Traxxas 6852x's are a lot beefier than the stock one's and are great with the VXL system.

The high powered traxxas verhicles should come with steel axles like every other brand. Still in love with traxxas! Hahaha

MIPs on my maxx. Love the axles and the customer support is phenomenal.

I tried some Integy universal driveshafts for my p2de. Didn't expect much out of them but I thought i'd give them a try since they were only $20 a pair. After about a month of casual driving I noticed my rear wheel wobbling like crazy. I took the wheel off and the stub axle was bent.. Another great Integy story!

Integy should not be in business. None of their parts are good. If you want a shelfqueen and never drive they can hook you up. Pfff

The x duty's look bulletproof but I don't think I need them plus the price was pretty high does anyone know if the tbone ones are good?

I had every single axle out there. Till I got the xdutys on all my rides. Never have to change them again. Maybe a rebuild someday. Every part of the drivetrain get broken. But NOT the xdutys. Love m

I agree with Jerry. I've used the 6852x's on three VXL trucks and only had a few failures. Are the MIPS better? Obviously but at 4 times the price.

I'm good buying the 6852x and keeping a spare set for the peace of mind.

I been running 6852's on most of my 1/10 2wd's and they are fine. The VXL system will treat them right. I busted the ears off many stock ones but the 6852's have been great. Have and had many metal one's, nothing wrong there either but for the VXL IMO is overkill.

The MIPs are also add unnecessary weight. If your not regularly shredding plastic it's not worth it.

The ears snapped under pressure because the holes had been worn out.

Well if they broke from wear, I'd say get those slash 4x4 ones. I have MIP axles and my dad uses Tekno axles. They both work, but what do we run? I run a Sidewinder 8th scale and 1515-2200kv. He runs a Mamba monster 2 and 1515y-2200Kv. For the stock VXL system, anything other than plastic for driveshafts is overkill as others stated. But if you'd get MIP or Tekno, they'd be the last driveshafts you'd get. I got them because I was just twisting plastic like Laffy taffy when it's been out in the sun in 90 degree weather.
