    Merv wont coast

For some reson i cannot find my merv willnot coast when letting go of the throttle. It only coasts a few inches before stopping. I tried to spin the tires while holding it up but when i let go of my remote the wheels stopped instantly. What can i do to fix this.

Back the motor off so the pinion and spur no longer touch and see if it will roll freely. Then go from there.

Maybe it's related to how your remote is setup.
I mean, maybe neutral is not exactly neutral and it's a bit in reverse... so when you let go of the throttle it puts the brakes on (just a tiny bit, but still enough to stop the truck).

Shimmed too tight maybe, or too tight a slipper clutch and pinion/spur, or maybe shot bearings in the axles or along the drivetrain are my first thoughts.
