I have seen something like that on YouTube. I have been curious about if it works or not.

    Easy Mounts

That stuff is no joke, we used that stuff to hang heavy plaques on the the bulkheads of submarines (walls for you non-Navy types). If the surfaces are clean when you apply the adhesive, it will take a screwdriver to get that stuff apart.

I use that stuff for my transponder, pretty good, but occasionally some really bad crashes will knock it out.

Yup then snap it back on. The tape holding it has never let go on my bashers

I believe that is also called 3M Dual Lock; I've been using it on my R/Cs for years with great success!

+1 on the dual lock. it's truly an item with 1001 uses. the individual packages get a little pricey, you can buy it in rolls on ebay.

+2 on the 3M dual lock, I've had two rolls since 2006 and have used it for all manner of different things, mainly car and RC car related. It's my default esc mounting method lol

Never had problems with it e.g. Mounted the ballast units for an aftermarket pair of car xenons no issues for two years in all weathers.

I use dual lock for my transponder. I used to use it for electronics but it was either too strong and it pulled the adhesive off or it would come loose in a hard crash. They make various densities of it and you can combine them to get various strengths.
This will TOTALLY work, saw a guy on YouTube do it
