High speed gearing

I am looking to what mod 1 gears will fit into the LCG chassis, I am running a 2200kv motor. I have tried a 23p and a 40 spur and that did NOT fit. I have seen possibly a 34s with a 22p will fit, but I have not seen much more.

I have been using the standard 32 pitch gearing with a 22p and a 50s but I max out at 80mph, I would like to get a lil more. I know the 2650 would be a lil better with more RPM available with 6s compared to the 2200kv.

If need be I do have the 1/10 scale 1415 2400 kv castle motor as well.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Nay need to grind some on the plastic mount to make room for the pinion gear. or run a smaller spur gear.

The LCG chassis is way more stable! It handles leaps and bounds better than the HCG chassis. You can really see the difference in cornering performance at speed. You can brake later and accelerate faster in and out of the corners.

I meant in the way the gears are mounted.

Any issues running a large pinion or a large spur? (I remember having to grind a bit off to fit a 56T spur)

if you're out to really gear the crap out of it, you can always use one of Saga's mounts. I've got a couple and they're awesome.

I can fit 23/36 in my rally.

you prolly need to use mod 1 gears and not 32p especially for the 2200kv on 6s.

use revo 3.3 36t spur mod 1 and start out with 24-26t pinion mod 1.

I run that on my rustler with 2200kv on 6s and 39ts and 28t pinion mod 1 on my losi running 2200kv on 6s as well

you will need a spur adaptor to run a spur as a pinion.. search rawsteele, rc hornet, or sagacustom rc
