    Traxxas 3s 8400mah

    Would the Aton handle the weight of the 3s 8400mah?im thinking of making it work..

    Not sure about the weight, I do know it wont fit. Its to big

    I was thinking of cutting the battery tray in half and strap the battery under,but I just need to know if weight will be and big issue

    I'm sure it will carry it but runtime probably won't be much better that a 5000mah from the increased weight

    The 8400 (2879x) weighs 21.9 oz.... the 5000 (2831x) comes in at 12.5 oz.... 9.4 oz difference.. slightly more than 1/2 pound.

    I haven't tried a battery that big, but I think I'd rather have a higher C rating.
