I doubt it. The Traxxas batteries for the 1/16 scale are small:

You'll need a lithium battery sized for the 1/16 series of vehicles. If i were going to run a 1/10 power system such as the vxl3s, i would run 2 2s lipo's with the highest "C" rating that i could find (sized for a 1/16) and then wire them in parallel for twice the run time and to keep the balance in the chassis from side to side.

You will have better luck posting this in the 1/16 sections for the rally or the gymkhana fiesta, just a heads up.

No, those are 1/10 sized batteries and are physically too large to fit into the trays. Look at the dimensions of the batteries that traxxas includes with the car and compare that with any battery you are interested in purchasing.

About the largest battery that will fit the 1/16 battery trays are 2200 mAh or maybe even up to 2500 mAh depending on physical size. Look for 30c+ rating, 50c+ would be more ideal. Also, 1/10 scale Batteries are about twice the size of mini 1/16th scale batteries.
