Maybe only the case of the lipos is broken?

Yep within 2 months old maybe 10-15 cycles on them. All 3 cells are bent up on corner and the soft casing the cells are in are ripped on one batt. The balance lead is broke on the other and casing is shattered so need open it to see if those cells are damaged.

    So far need:
    Tranny case,
    Wild turbo fan,
    Front bulkhead,
    3 new shocks,
    2 driveshafts,
    Chassis,
    Rx,
    Rx box,
    Bell crank assembly,
    New grps,
    2 lipos,
    New led light kit,
    Gps...

Motor & esc seem to work fine so far. Tranny gears appear okay as well...

Well rcreaper chassis is 85 plus the 2 lipos at 60 each is 205. Plus tranny case at 30 is 235 plus aluminum bell crank at 25 is 260. Plus tqi rx and box at 40 is 300. Plus grps at 45 is 345. Plus gtr shocks at 40 is 385. Plus odds and ends. Dont know exactly what I need as far as shock towers on the rcreaper chassis. If I need to use a normal rustler front bulkhead for that chassis add another 40ish so ill budget 400+ but hope I can find good deals and if I get any donations thatll cut costs... A friend was telling me oh i think i got one of those and two of that to get you started in rebuilding it... Total appreciation for good buddies like that!!!

Everything will bolt right up to the reaper chassis, you don't have to buy his towers. I only bought them because they had pretty green lol. Don't need a aluminum bellcrank, you can use the stock bellcrank or a stock slash 4x4/stampede 4x4 bellcrank like I'm using now.

Thanks for the info bro!!! I may get the towers too though. Ive been playing it up with the sad face and its sitting in front room so I sigh everytime I walk by it. She finally said "baby put that new chassis you want on credit card". Im playing up the battery loss now. She says get batts and chassis and anything else that card is gonna have smoke coming off it from using it lol.

So heres the complete list after taking it apart.
Pins are bent from impact. Even the plastic in between the 2 sets of pins is broke(zoom in). Chassis broke not only here but where bulkheads attach.Servo tabs busted off along with bell crank post. All bearings and screws from inside bell crank are gone.Tranny case at bottom and arm is bent. Ripped aluminum at top.Misc other damage.

Motor, esc, both shock towers, front arms, hubs, knuckles and rods are the only "sets" of things that survived.

Motor appears to be fine! The pinion teeth had small indentations in it from the spur gear.

I am pretty sure SMS covers part of the battery in the event of a crash. As long as it is in the warranty period.

Woohoo!!!! Its alive again!!! New and improved design.
Bashed hard on 3s in parking lot and it was flawless. Got new grp's balanced and ready to go for a speed run when im feeling lucky enough to try again. Had these ebay cheapies on and switched to jaco foams due to lack of traction. These $14 ebay specials are perfect for drifting but thats about it. I need to dial in shocks and correct stance with shock limiters and it should be good for sr attempt.

What honestly blows my mind is how those plastic driveshafts survived yet for me nothing but MiP driveshafts last more than five minutes. Sorry for your loss BTW I've had that happen quite a many times. But there was more than one thing to hit in a smaller area.

Sidewinder 8th(sorry debranded it, lol, plan on dying chassis black since wife accidentally got the gray one for me, going for completely blacked out look with pops of red here and there). Used dremel and cut that small section of batt tray wall out and just used the really sticky double sided tape thats used for the rx. Even my smc 4s fits in there.

    Rusty II
    First few 4s passes...
Last pass on 4s was a huge surprise. Notice the speed, then notice the camber link rod! I wondered why it was pulling so hard right on last pass, I was hard left on steering during that last pass and when I brought it back I gasped as I realized 78mph with screw gone and camber link was loose!!!! Disaster luckily avoided lmbo!!!!

So I made the decision to ditch Rusty 2.0 and make some modifications and do a rebuild based on my last few speed run attempts with which I got no traction, had bad tracking and felt uneasy about running over 4s.

Starting with lowering center of gravity. The RCReaper chassis have this design so I copied it only I stuck with genuine Trx chassis parts. I took 2 rustler chassis and cut the batt trays out of them and attached to my current chassis.
I also replaced the servo and installed new aluminum bellcrank.
I also found the the hollow balls in link between servo and bellcrank were super tight and didnt rotate in rod ends without much force. I replaced ends and hollow balls and no binding what so ever now. Relocating electronics to the original battery tray was easy but didnt like how the esc was so low and had very restricted air flow to it. I fabricated a couple of risers and attached a piece of carbon fiber to mount esc to so that it sits above the rx box.

I just put a set of anacondas on my rustler. They are awful. Car jumping all of the place. I will surely have to balance them. I hope that works. I surely would not recommend them.

Went out today with my very tall gearing on in an attempt to max out Rusty 3.0 and from 3/4 throttle went to wot and heard motor rap out and realized I had no brakes as it went flying outta range and sight. Luckily found it just off road in grass intact, but.... Pictures worth a thousand words so...

Finally made triple digit runs. Took long enough lol. Made back to back 102mph passes just testing and tuning so didnt have video running. Now that I have stable, consistent car to work from I'll push it a little and get video before turning it in to a parking lot drifter. I'm really wanting a drag car made from Slash 4x4 platform. Guys I know are doing same speeds in 300' it took me 700' to get up over 100mph.
Just need one more rc, then Ill be done...
