    Bigger Tires for the Slash

If you were to raise the ride height of the Slash 2WD, and have better handling in the some snow, what tires would you recommend?

    Photos welcome!
    Thanks!

Do you have a link or part number for these for the Slash? Wondering if they are bigger than stock and how they wear?

On slash 2WD do you install just two of these, rear? Or on all four tires?

Also, do you recommend swapping tires on the stock bead lock rims, or have sling shots in separate rims?
    Thanks.

You just need them on the rear and I would just get a set of pre-mounted. On the front you can run Mohawks or the stock, or even skis (see T-Bone Racing).

    Thanks guys.

Do you have a pro line part number for the set that fits (tires on rims?) for the stock 12mm?

The pre-mounted Sling Shot for the Slash 2WD rear is 1158-17. BTW, if you look at proline's site (www.prolineracing.com) for the Mohawk, there is a great video there of SCTs with Sling Shot and Mohawk set ups in sand.

Thanks for the part number and reply!

Are they direct bolt on replacement to stock 2WD Slash or any extra parts / adapters needed?

You may need to trim the body to fit the sling shots, or use adjustable body mounts (proline or rpm) to raise the body.

I was thinking of doing this to mine just because it looks cool:

Any drawbacks to the bigger tires?
