I talked to Castle yesterday. I think I am going to buy a XLX and start slow. His suggestion was to gear conservatively on 4 or 6s, Data log the runs and then creep up until there is a problem. Then call them. The other option is a 700 dollar MGM with a 500 amp limit. I think I will give the Castle a shot first. At 200 bucks if it gets me into the 150 range I will be pretty happy.

Well... that 100mph X01 out of the box is peanut's for you. I totally understand the lock in when speeding... got there myself a couple of times on the Mp9e, but not making your world record speeds

Traxxas should give you a X01 to be sponsored on the 200mph quest! Total crazyness man! lol To wild... but if it's your thing... bring it! We like to see those videos. And of course the TP Power motors which me and Dr.T and the boat guys so much like it for our driving style!

Interesting to know you are not using the "CM" versions of the 4070 :P YET!!
