    Question Better Bumper And Mounts

Hello all. Just received my new X Maxx and was wondering if anyone had found aluminum or steel bumpers and mounts for this thing yet the plastic is so weak for the mounts and I do not like them. Any info would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Looking at the videos and reading this forum, they hold up quite well; only the retaining screws pulling out on occasions.

Or, you can do what I did...

T-Bone Racing offers a nice bumper but as far as mounts...you're stuck with the stocks.

oh and I don't think you'll want a big aluminum bumper on this 20lb beast. It's sure to bend at the first major crash.

Nope, it's now available from RPM. When I first got my Xmaxx it wasn't available, so I had to make my own to mount my wheelie wheels. Everything worked out well, but I like the looks of this RPM better. It more OEM-ish looking compared to what I had. The RPM P/N is 81762.

I second the Tbone bumpers, they may not look the greatest, but as far as function and protection they are great! But if your bashing then looks take a back seat to protection.
