How much does your Slash 4x4 weigh?

    Hi,
I was asked how much does your Slash weigh and I wasn't sure. Really never paid attention to it's weight. Funny thing coming from multi-rotors and fixed wing that I would but I figure it's not flying why bother.
Anyways I just weighed it and my Slash 4x4 LCG comes in at 8-8.2lbs depending it I use 3s or 4s lipos.
    My wife's Slash 4x4 HCG is 6.1lbs with a 2s.
Mine seems fine, is it too heavy?

The Last time I weighed my On Board Audio Ultimate Edition it was 7.8 pounds. That was with the aluminum rims and MIP steel axles .

    Hi All,

This is my first time post. We got a used Slash 4X4 from a friend for $260.00. It came with all electronics less the transmitter and battery. It runs a 4.5 turn Tekin motor and Novak speed control with fan. Big bore shocks for now (GTR in process) LCG, center diff setup and a think we are running a 54/14 gear (5mm) on the motor also a Savox servo. When we put it on the scale we sat at 5.875 pounds

Apparently, you are happy with it. So the answer is, "No. Your Sl4sh is just the right weight for you."

As for me, I have no clue how much my 1/8 scale powered Sl4sh weighs and I don't care since I love how it is performing for me.

Happy with mine, and even being the lightest one anyone has posted here so far, it is a tank compared to my SC10 , and a little heavier than my Sla2h.

Probably on the heavier side mainly due to motor and plate... 13.1lb with 8S and 14.0lb/12S.
