    DCB M41

I just got this boat, Traxxas Charger and 2 Batts for Christmas 2016, Wow Its a beauty and very fast, Its my first rc boat..gonna mount a small vid camera on hull.
Using the 2 Traxxas 5000 mah Batteries I hammered the throttle just a bit to much and it flipped went air borne, makes for some cool video footage with the go pro. This boat is amazing fun, love it. Check out the vid..No damage. First run. I'm new here.. Always wanted a RC boat.

Not sure how many on here looking at this boat has checked out Dave's Custom Boats..He builds some screaming boats. This DCB M41 is a cool replica of his one off boat with the Hawai Paint scheme. Very fun to drive and very realistic when out in water.

Went to lake yesterday after applying grease on the prop shaft, Was sure shaft had seated into collar, I tightened collar down good. Hit the throttle at home and all seemed good.. But once prop torqued in water I had to rescue my new boat, re loosens pulled shaft back out re greased and re tightened . run the boat hard, all seems fine. The shaft is smooth collar has to grab good to turn prop, This is my first boat, loving it.
Here another quick vid of ripping around .

noticed your using a radar gun to check your speed. I upgraded my M41 with telemetry auto temp and voltage sensors. Also added the GPS Module for speed. It works really well as I have gotten speed run recordings and have hit 50 mph.

Ntruder, I been thinking of doing the Telemetry, How does it effect the Batteries in TX/Rx. I need to get the front end down with Traxxas 5000mah strapped as far forward as possible the wind at wide open burst seems to lift the front end with ease. Love this boat can't get enough . After flipping a few times 2nd run out, and going swimming already from losing my go pro the water is frigid to rescue boat..he he..

I've got over 60 runs on my local lake and for some reason never blown over or flipped. Running the 5000mah and 8400mah 6s batts. Knock on wood I know. The 5000mah batts puff after 9-11 charge cycles but the 8400mah are fine, and yes the boat obviously takes longer to plane but gets better run times and is more stable on choppy water.

Rude, The 8400 mah might be what my boat needs, I have to be really careful not to flip during any run with new charged Batts, 60 runs is awesome.

Yea, in the unfrozen months i'm at the lake with my 41 and X-Maxx and Revo. Total gas with these rigs. The 41 runs best on 1" chop and 3-4 mph breeze. No TSM IMO.
