    Diff Gear Internals

Good day all. i did some searching before i post this, but i have come up with nothing, except locking my diff, which is not what i want to do... i upgraded to the Hot Racing Steel diff, and it has been great running the 2650kv and big ol' 2.8 trenchers. this weekend my buddy fried the clutch so i dropped in the clutch eliminator.
now i have broken the internal gears in the diff.

is there any upgrade to those gears in side the diff, or should i just get a rebuild kit and suck-it-up...

You'll have to talk to HR to see if they have stronger gears. Buy the rebuild kit and reinstall a slipper clutch - it is there for a reason and you found one of them.

if i could get a bigger slipper, (like the double up by HR or e-revo for the 4x4) then i would, but i can't seem to get it tight enough. i thought maybe another 2wd model may have similar diff with tougher guts. like maybe the dragster, or maybe the Bigfoot gearbox may have tougher internals. i'm fine just getting the traxxas diff rebuild, but wanted to bounce a few ideas around about upgrading first...
