Probably for starters then go with VXL. Looks beautiful! Can't get over how to-scale it looks!

Good to see Traxxas is pricing it at $300 to make it affordable to most. You know a lot of guys are going to throw brushless systems in this baby asap!

Back in the days, having an Electric or Nitro 4-TEC meant you had a performance car. The fastest on road car with carbon fiber parts and upgrades. This one just screams "expensive toy". Having a 2056 servo and a brushed system doesn't cut it for the 4-TEC name. I'm just glad they put it a very nice body (without LED lights), and they kept solid colors, for now. Too much wait, not many offered.

lol good one, not gonna lie my heart sank a little when I saw brushed. One less sale but for I'm sure for every one missed brushless sale five brushed get sold. Same for that ford rally.

I personally liked they made it brushed simply because it probably greatly reduced the cost (which is a big factor for me!).

Not seeing much recycling here beyond diffs, electronics, bearings, screws, pivot balls, and maybe shocks.

I have quite a few laying around waiting to be installed. This may be a home for one of them! I could see it reaching impressive speeds with one

No, looks like it might share things like nuts, screws, pivot balls, and some [portion of the shock assemblies, probably body clips, rx/servo, and name, but that's it.

I was "wow'd" by its scale looks. It looks very impressive, and I am sure many people will upgrade components and electronics to make it a monster!

I can't wait to get one. I love the GT, but I'm most excited that I will now have a modern chassis for all the 200mm bodies I have lying around.

i have been thinking of getting something to fit 200mm bodies. debating the 1/16 revo with the 200mm chassis, but now i see this beauty! so typical 200mm bodies should fit this? would this chassis be able to race in say VTA or USGT races? i'm not a serious racer, but i might want to get into it. i'm totally getting this car either way... wow

Lots of great options with the 200mm bodies!
Just have to wait to see if my spare 1/8 BL systems will fit...

It will be interesting to see the videos of people getting this car to hit 130 mph like the speed rustlers.

Anyone have any ideas on what brushless system might be good for this car? A car this nice should have a better power plant.

1/8 scale POWER!!! some loon will drop a 2650 in this and fly... but i was thinking of something more reasonable like some 550 can 4600kv, or a lower kv to run 3s... maybe the ol' 2400 el sob special...

When I get one I was thinking of putting a 120a hw brushless in it but now I'm starting to think that might be a little overkill

Just my opinion...but I don't think they're going to release a brushless version. They released it in a brushed version to make it affordable.

I'm just going to throw the good ole faithful VXL-3s Brushless System in mine because I heard it drops right in. you can find them brand new on ebay for $120 and even here on the marketplace used for cheaper.

There's usually never an exact release date...just a projected timeframe of release. Which is "late march".

I got my 4-Tech 2.0 on pre-order from my HS already & a TRAXXAS Brushless system for my 4-Tech 2.0 but I am not going to put the Brushless system in right away I going to run the stock setup for a month or two first. I want to experiment on how long the stock titan will last on 2 Cell Lipos. But I can't wait until this Car Comes Out my HS said Mid to Late March if anyone was wondering.....

I had a TRAXXAS Nitro 4-Tech when I 1st got into the R/C Hobby I loved my 4-Tech but than I switched over to electric brushless when the speeds came up & the systems got more advanced... I always thought about getting another Nitro 4-Tech but I am not a big fan of the messes a Nitro makes and a pain to clean them...
