    New RPM front bumper mount

Hey guys, it looks like the people over at RPM finally addressed the part I hate most on my X-Maxx. That front bumper loop. It's always bending, and ripping the screws out of it. This new RPM part looks really sturdy, but who knows how good it actually is. What do you guys think? Worth trying?

RPM used to have the advantage back in the day due to their proprietary God-like material. But IMO, Traxxas has done a great job improving their materials used to provide both strength and flexibility. I have broken bearing and gears, but have yet to bust any structural component, even with very harsh landings.

Regarding this specific parts, my issue has been the mounting screws for the front bumper mount ripping out, not the bumper mount itself. Had to drill out and add longer screws. Has been good since.

Although I've never broken this part it has become very flexible so will be buying to add a little strength and for the price why not.

I have never broken the part this replaces, but I have twice broken the wish bone shaped part that the screws go into through the front of the bumper. I believe the part I keep breaking sits just above this RPM part. I don't have my X in front of me. Is it possible this part will help keep from breaking the other part that comes with TRX7733 ?

I hope it does honestly. I've broken no joke 4 of the top bumper loops. The bottom part, which this RPM part replaces, just gets bent up and warped. Hopefully if this RPM part is stiffer it will help prolong the life of the top bumper loop.

Wish someone made something to fill in the skid/bumper lower section on my stampede 4x4... tired of digging dirt out of that thing after every run.

This rpm support is super stiff! Well worth the money!

I may get this. I ran my xmaxx at the local track today,"mostly just to hit the jumps" and I cracked and broke my front bumper mount. My question is if you make that strong what than becomes the weak point?
