    Very cool Mustang momort! I'm definitely a Mustang fan (no offense GM people). Once I get my bug sorted out I'll probably move to that body. I just changed to the 5700 in hopes it'll help settle down the car from the 6900. We'll see how that goes. I also have the 4600 to try. All are 4 pole. Keep posting your results. Gotta get it to run sub 2.0's on 3s.

    I use alot of those parts in my current build the gasser look is cool but im more of a door slammer pro mod guy. But im definitely doing the on board auto

    Boy I have to get with the program. Sure looks great momort! I use the HR locker with the stock housing. No problems yet. I also have the rpm trans case because I wanted the aluminum motor plate. Hopefully you'll get some test passes soon.

    I should be able to get my batteries and esc next week also getting some custom works rc springs for the rear maybe 16lb or 18lb rate

    What kind of motor and esc temps did you have after apass with the 6900kv after a pass and what gearing i have a goolrc 4 pole 4300kv i just installed 31/76

    momort, not sure on the temp but I never noticed it being hot. I was running 20/58 with the 6900 and never really played with gearing. I was going to try a smaller pinion just to mellow it out a bit but decided to try the 5700 the next time out. Hopefully it'll handle the 3s better for repeated runs. I also have the 4600 to try. Lots of testing in the quest for sub 2.0s.

    rag6, can't go fast if you're hitting the boards. That means your pipes WILL SURVIVE!

    They are rpm revolver 2.2 stadium truck rear with proline prime tire the front are a buggy wheel 2.2 hps redcat get them off eBay they come with tires but are not glued i used proline prime 8242-03 tires i used traxxas bandit arms and axles and toe links for the rear to tuck the tires under the body and fuel tube in the shocks to lower the ride height 12mm rear 8mm front

    The front rims look really cool. I use the Jaco 1050LP foams and I hope the offset will be okay for the body. I also use bandit arms and the front rim is from the FC. Don't remember what my ride height is but it's lowered and I also raised the transmission to minimize the axle angle. Because it's only for drags I use tie rods instead of shocks. It allows easy tweak adjustments as needed. And there's enough flex in the arms to absorb any road imperfections. I'm planning on ordering my body soon. Even though I'm a Mustang fan at heart, I also like Mopars so will be ordering the Charger.

    Got more parts in today hr slipper clutch, hr diff lock. I decided to go 2s going for high 2 sec or mid 2 sec plan is to run 2 2s 100c lipos in parallel 31/76 4300kv

    I want 2s for ease on the drivetrain with 2 in parallel the c rating stays the same the mah doubles giving a increase supply of available power /amps to feed the motor and yes the extra wait will help keep it planted to ground just experimenting. I plan on using the 7.6v 2s lipo batteries. After this setup i may step up to 3s once i get the drag racing setups down

    We run this coming Sunday so I'll be doing some motor/gearing testing. Like the speed run guys, my quest for sub 2.0 has started. Body is shipped and rims should be here today. Want to get the Reaper wheelie wheel but seems to be on back order and color I want doesn't have a purchase button.

    Installed my gtr shocks today on the rear only love the stance direct fit. plus the shock springs are custom works rc 14lb revo springs i also have 17lb also my esc is on the way scored a mamba monster x for 60. Custom works have springs all the up to 22lb im going to test both that i have to see what works

    Lookin' good! Can't wait for you to run it.

    Sunday's test with the 5700 ran quicker but slower speed. Got to run a 2.267 @ 62.5. 6' still too slow at 0.402. went 66mph with the 6900 but was a 1/10 slower. Tried gearing changes but didn't help. Think the motor is missing some torque. Will try the 4600 next and gear for the lower kv.

    I would stick with that set-up you're running a good et. I have a 4 pole 4300kv im going to work with that.
