    Tin vs stock shafts

Are the tin coated shock shafts really that much better???

No coating is going to add any significant strength.

the titanium nitride coating is not for strength, it's makes for smoother shock action.

    All comments above 100% correct.
Same dimension, so won't be stronger - if the shafts are the same, just coated with titanium nitride (TiNi).
Said to be very hard and very smooth, giving a smoother action through the lubricated O-rings / seals.

If you want STRENGTH, I'd go for the D-Hawk heavy duty shafts.

All this being said, I've bent ultra shafts, but never big bores, or GTR's.
