I believe they haven't officially gone on sale yet, even though they've just gone up on the website. The actual release will be later on. It was the same situation with the Raptor bodies.

Cant wait to see what people think of these and if they weigh significantly more than the stock wheels/tires.

They seem like a real nice upgrade over the stockers. I'd like to see an MTXLish version but i'm sure that isn't going to happen.

Not sure I'm sold on these. I'd have liked to see something more "Monster". .3 taller, but .2 narrower makes them look even more narrow than they are. Will wait for comparison picks by the early adopters on these.

I pre-ordered a set, so I can do a review of them on youtube. They wernt happy with my review of their pro-line raptor body. But as I am paying for the items, not sponsored, I'm just being honest....

Cant wait to review this tires.

    I paid $161 with discount code FB20.

I live in California, so I guess that's why I paid 10$ more than Jay... (tax)

Nothing really wrong with it. Just I said the stock body was better quailty. I'll bash these tires, and compare them to Hostile Racing mxt knobbies.

Check out fourdubs proline body thread. It cracked by the rear front fender seam and dented in on the top a little. Not as durable as stock. Although, I had a fresh stock body crack within a 2 week period also so depending on the hit anything is susceptible to damage.

If you have a drill... use that and set the torque very low. Used to do that with my Baja 5B... saved my hands a lot of pain.

Where did you get all 4 for 129.07? my cart says 161.34 free shipping for 2 sets of unmounted rims and tires.

80 screws? that's just on the outside, the inside has even more.

edit: I just counted them, 40 screws per wheel. hopefully my driver can do it one charge

I should also go ahead and upgrade to the 2085X servo prior to putting these puppies on. Glad a member of the XMAXX FB group I'm in posted the discount code!

I apologize, because this is somewhat unrelated. The proline xmaxx they're using in their promo pics and videos sits lower than stock. It's an alternate setup I want to be able to run with mine, but I haven't figured out how, yet. Does anyone know of a solution? From looking at the picture, it looks like their shock shafts might just be shorter, but I haven't seen anyone selling them.

If anyone has an anwer, please PM it to me. I don't want to derail this thread.

On topic...I was on the fence about these. $180 seemed like a ton of money. But...after that coupon code, 129 doesn't seem bad at all. A dog also got one of my tires, so it's just waiting to blow out. I'll be pre ordering a pair tomorrow.

it looks to me to be the same as stock, or slightly higher.

Theirs is on blocks and yours is sitting on the ground. Look at the picture on their site. The one where it shows the tires on the truck in their store. Look at the angle of the a-arms. It's sitting quite a lot lower than stock. I thought it was lower in the video, but I wasn't sure. After looking at the picture in their store, it's obvious.

can u post the link to the page for me, I didn't see it.

if you look at the front and rear bumper... they are the same... on the website and video you can see the ford logo above the front bumper.... on mine you can see the ford logo above the front bumper... by about the same amount.

look at the hole in the body where the fake front bumper is, on the thumbnail for the video linked above, and this picture...

lowering the body would put those holes behind the bumper.

if you found a pic of the ford logo behind or under the front bumper, please post the link, I would be interested to see that myself.

    thanks

adjust preload, or add limiters to shocks shaft internally.

I just bought two full sets of 8S version tires. My opinion is that they are a lot better/harder/less balooning than the 6S ones and look better than the Prolines. I've been looking for other options for my "bling" truck, but for daily basher I've been happy with the new compound.
