    Sensored motor on sensorless ESC

Would it be ok if I used a Verizon vxl3s and a castle 4600 (sensored)? I'm guessing it would be ok if I didn't use the sensor cable.

A sensored motor needs the cable to insure it has the correct electrical timing. The motor would most likely cog without the cable.
