big construction project around my shop, so took her out for a bit after work tonight. man i love this rig!













excellent crawling, and the combo of 3s/4hi does wonders for getting up extremely loose terrain. now i just need to look into some body replacement options, as she was all too happy to roll over in off-camber situations

Here's my personal TRX-4!

Fresh out of the box. I ended up going with the gunmetal color.



I couldn't just leave it stock though. I went with some Gmade AR6 5 lug aluminum beadlocks and I wrapped them in Pro line Hyrax tires.









I went out with a few of my friend's rigs out trail ridding and crawling. One friend has a Vaterra Ascender blazer, and the other friend is running a Axial SCX10 II with a Ford body.

first few mods done. removed accessory dead weight, proline flat irons on 2.2 proline epic beadlocks, ssd rock shield front and rear bumpers. better entry/departure angles, and a bit less prone to tipping over. loving the improvements so far

Here's my first attempt at a SWB TRX-4. I don't like this paint color much, so this will probably end up being a beater body. I will put more scale detail into the next body. Shock towers are set at the 300mm position, but it was not short enough. I used 90mm links in the rear and brought the wheelbase down to about 284mm which is perfect for this body.

more mods today

savox 1230sg and a tekin 35t, plus a castle bec to help with juice. that's a w.i.p. at the moment (servos are geeking out when it's connected) should have it sorted tomorrow tho.



~300mm wheelbase achieved with 102mm revo pushrods, and 10mm cut from both sides of the driveshaft.

finally took her out to the woods now that the major modding is done. entry and approach angles are way better than stock, and the shorter wheelbase helped a lot with breakover. made it up and over a few things that it got hung up on before, so definitely worth the effort put in.

My TRX-4, at the moment only installed a Traxxas Link in the transmitter but the red diff covers and D-rings are on order...

I cut off the plastic lead and then added the Warn winch. I used two rc gas hose holders to keep the claw secured the front bumper. Installed the light bar as well, both winch and light bar are attached to a Y harness that connects into channel 1. No problems as of yet.

I wanted a lightweight crawler body for bashing. Wheelbase is set to 313mm using 105mm end links.

Installed the MFR Brass portal covers on all four, American Machine Works Ohio's Brass Spring retainers & Beef Tubes Brand Beef Patties up front (modification required) last week. Finally had the chance to take it out while camping at the lake this weekend. The weight down low helped tremendously!!
