    Looks like I have a goal now, a number to beat. Although Im going to go the route of total genuine Trx stock parts. This will not have any aftermarket parts.

    92.5 mph Rustler (Rusty 1.0 R.I.P.)
    78 mph on 4s/93 on 6s(Rusty 2.0)
    86.9 mph Stampede 4x4
    Just need one more rc, then Ill be done...

    That's cool... for about 5 minutes. Kind of like getting a boat. Having a vehicle for one very narrow task set.

    That said... I want a nitro boat. Pretty sure I'd regret it pretty quick, but stranger things have happened. lol
    Expert rigging at it's best!

    I really like finding new roads for speed runs. That being said I have a Rustler. It has morphed into a very fast machine, and had no place off road any more. Getting a slash 4x4 roller for off-road adventures. It's hard to have a multipurpose vehicle.

    I love my RC Boats! I seem to have one for every occasion. Saltwater, rough water, smooth freshwater or slow and steady for a guest. I'm not a fan of nitro and gas boats aren't allowed in many places so most of mine are electric...

    I've started on that and am having issues preventing backflips at higher speeds. Gonna try the extended wheelbase arms and dial up the punch control until it stays on the ground. For wheels the SRC Road crushers are awesome. Speaking of which I should get moving on this one. I've been dreading the wiring nightmare mess that is the Traxxas Telemetry, lol. (I love it, but it's awful busy)

    If you can keep it from flipping over, the other challenge is gearing for that kind of MPH. You would need the RPM of 6s/2200kv but are out of gear at 27/54 on mod .8 and mod 1 the max is 29/34 unless you modify the motor mount housing.

    This is what I use for calculating gearing;

    But I say go for it! Let us know how you do. Fresh eyes on old challenges is always good.

    Im going the same route on gearing as i did on my rustler. Then using voltage alarm so i dont over draw batts... If I have to modify motor plate or housing slightly thats fine but shouldnt have to as long as im sticking to that mod 1 gearing. Keeping it on the ground... i have an idea on that still sticking with trx parts. Thanks for info...
