LOL! Crawling in one of the flattest countries in the world...

I laugh, but it's very flat around here also. Finding a good place to challenge the truck is tricky, but I still love my little crawler! You can rig up some lights and walk the dog with it at night.

Haha I really love my country, but one of it's little flaws unfortunately is the lack of playground for rock crawling... 😬
We do have lots of rain and dirt so I guess my TRX-4 is going to be a scale/trail truck and not so much a crawler... this is why I had to have this beauty because of the locking diff's and 2 speed transmission... 💪🏻😍

But even if you don't like trailing/crawling for some reason, what's not to love about this beast? 😉

Hope they release the light kit soon though, for sure going to be the cherry on the cake! 👍🏻

Have you guys seen the Heavenly Crawlers course on YouTube? It was created because those guys are in Florida. Florida is a very flat state in the USA and you should see what they have devised, if you haven't yet seen it. You could do the same sort of thing.

If you're curious just google "Heavenly Crawlers".

    I was... and did... 😉

I already crawled over some pillows and a shoebox in my living room, but this for sure is great inspiration for the outdoors... 😊

I am camping this weekend, but didn't get to bring the TRX-4 😕
But, we had to make a run back into town for some supplies...I'm grabbing the TRX-4 right now!

There are some really cool places to crawl where I am camping that you can't see in these pics!

Well, after watching all the youtube videos in existence (as my wife says but I still think there are more out there ) I caved to my craving and picked up my first crawler, the TRX-4. Wow is this thing cool! I plan to wait a little while before modifying but am already looking forward to accessorizing etc. My back yard has a bunch of "natural" obstacles and trail like features that I plan to build up and expand on.

Haha, same with me... always had (and have) on-road RC's, but when I saw the first pictures and YouTube movies about this car I couldn't help myself getting more and more excited! 😁
Looked at a demo model at my LHS as soon as it arrived and it was love at first sight! 😍😉
Got it last friday, already installed traxxas link and have the red diff covers and D-rings on order.
Next up LED's when available and then we'll see... but no end to upgrading in sight for a very long time I guess! 😅

    Enjoy yours! 👍🏻

Went out and I ran mine. Long story is it floats. I drove too close to a lake and well it went in. The body trapped enough air, and the spare tire kept it upright for about 30 sec before I got down to it. No damage, he runs like a champ!
Is owning 27 RC's too many? No way!

Well, guess that's the ultimate test!

Glad you got it back with out having to bust out the snorkeling equipment.

I ran mine in a creek this weekend, but I electrical tape sealed the vent holes on the rims first, so my foams wouldn't take on water. Mine may float a little better possibly, now since the rims are sealed, including the spare. Yours were probably sealed too, you probably have custom rims (bead locks)?

    Thank you NateDizzle!
They are GearHead RC 1.9 Vegas (Gold).
I love them, I would highly recommend. Seems very well made. They offer a couple other colors. I thought the gold looked good with the Wine Red too.

Added bumper after a little custom mod on this bumper fits OK with plenty of front wheel access.

Amazon, and if you cannot find it i will send post a link.

Also had to use the holes in the bumper made to accept ledís to mound a set of round bumper mounts. The front of this bumper is slanted so had to machine a flat for the post mounting screw hole so the mounting screw would set flat.

This bumper was made for Axial truck scx10?

If you need more pics just ask.

brass tubing roof rack. brazed together like the quarter armor, painted with rustoleum bedliner. nice and beefy, and matches the rack on my real jeep. just need a couple lightbars and this thing is almost a perfect clone

also mounted a cheap little drone-view fpv camera inside for a 'driver's view' kinda thing. should make for some cool vids i think

    lotust,

Are these the ones? Did they fit the stock truck without rubbing the body and without modification/replacement to the wheel hex?
