Question Hot Racing shock body broblem

So i got these shocks http://www.hot-racing.com/index.cgi?...VXS15501;c=455
the problem i have is that the that the shock oil is moving around the pistons which means that the shock is too big or my piston is too small. Any ideas how to fix this?

I would try the rebuild kit first, assuming there is some age and use on your shock internals. 80wt is the highest I would recommend. I've had really good luck with my HR shock bodies.
    And rubbin son is racin'.

It is a density not brand. Any brand would do.

The HR shock bodies are bigger than stock by default (measure them if you don`t believe me) , nothing to do with age and use.

Yea that's actually more common than most people realize. Don't worry about it, just adjust oil weight till you get the damping you like.

Iím about to buy the hot racing shock bodies. I just have one question. Can you use the stock traxxas rebuild kit for the shocks o-rings? Part#7062 https://traxxas.com/products/parts/7062
