Easy question...KillerBody.com. Look down the list of XO-1 posts, and you'll see a post that I did on Corvette bodies.

Here is the post I was telling you about.

would you by chance happen to know the dimensions of the stock body? Mainly im looking for how wide the front needs to be for it to fit over the bumper. Im doing a bit of a hybrid build with some xo1 parts(front bumper) but the wheel base will be shorter

That's what i do. I have a black/red body to look good and the white/blue body for running. The vette body is for the xo i'm building from scratch. I'll probably start a thread on that build once i start it next month.
My white body now has a hole right on the top from sliding down the street on it's head once to many times. Fortunately i have some support struts under the body that has saved it from worse damage. Here is a pic of the hole and the struts. I have also ripped the spoiler off. Like the body post hole the spoiler repair is easy with plastic from a milk jug. I just cut a piece of jug to the size needed and super glue it to the body over the hole or break. Drill hole as needed... lol

The vette body i will be painting red and black to match my car. I've been collecting parts since summer for a custom xo build and finally got all the parts needed a few weeks ago. I've since been waiting for an appointment next month to get some custom work done. Once that is done i will start the build and paint the body.

You've definitely done some serious sliding on your XO's body. (lol).

Yea i think i've gotten good at it!!!
Should i start a thread to see who has slid the furthest? I'm at least between 25-30 yards.
I can't image trying this on a ruff road but, at the macro level this street is like sandpaper.

Just put Gorilla tape on those two areas that extend the highest on the roof. It works well. I rarely flip over though and my body is 100% reinforced so I do not gorilla tape mine anymore.

Yea easy fix. To be fair there is 3 of us that abused it but i think i'v done the most damage.
I still have the stock body for showing off. I haven't cut it yet for the larger BRG tires.

I use a McLaren F1 1/8 serpent body with 325mm shortened chassis and wide protrac arms etc...
Fits bumper, foam, splitter Inc canards with a little work...
