That sounds cool I suggest upgrading to the Hobbywing Quickrun 1/16 1/18 brushless combo. The Quickrun motor should fit with the stock screws and the esc fits all snug to. From my experience, the little Hobbywing Ezrun combo is a waste because the esc over heats like crazy, wires have snapped multiple times, and the motor is way to small for the stock mount. And the stock motor mounting screws don't fit. I've had the ezrun combo and the motor also overheats a lot to. The diff housings, diffs, axles, suspension arms, shocks, caster blocks, steering blocks, and rear stub axle hub carriers need to be upgraded. And, after the first year the servo saver gets worn down and should be upgraded to the aluminum one by Hot Racing. I highly recommend Hot Racing for the steering belcrank which also comes with the servo saver, suspension arms, caster blocks, steering blocks, rear stub axle hub carrier, and many other parts. I've had a GPM aluminum body mount snap and I don't recommend there aluminum parts. Also a GPM skid plate for the mini slash broke. GPM makes good steel parts for the diffs and there steel axles are shockingly higher quality than the Hot Racing ones. Integy is also good for the diff housings, and the gray caster blocks which were a few dollars cheaper than the Hot Racing ones on Amazon, though, for some reason it was only the gray ones that were cheaper Once your Sst is working properly it is a great rc.

Do you think upgrading the caster and steering blocks make any noticeable difference? I've only gone with metal bell crank and axles.
