Tire glue tip - duct tape on thumb

I have been in the rc world for years. I still find it a pain to glue tires. I can never grip the side wall enough to pull back the tire bead , until today. I used about a 1 inch piece of duct tape wrapped around my thumb with the sticky side out. It really helps grip the rubber and pull the bead way off the rim. And it also keeps the glue off your fingers. I tried reg. Rubber glues but they tend to roll . Give it a try it did make it much easier.

That's funny. Some duct tape is so strong I'd be afraid to tear the rubber.

Pulling tires back hurts my fingers because I have the horrible habit of biting my nails and when my nails are too short it hurts!

I will soon. Tires and wheels haven't been ordered yet and will have to wait for shipping.
