    Cell not working

I recently got a 2 cell lipo(4 days ago from time of posting) and plugged it in to top it off before i ran my pede. I am fairly familiar with lipos, and expected a longer than usual charge the first time. However this time, the battery never finished charging. The charger timed out. I ran the truck anyways because i was bored, and plugged it back in. It charged overnight, and again timed out. I checked the voltages on my multi-meter this time. One cell was at 3.83 and the other at 3.72. When i got back from work that evening, I ran the pede again, and checked the voltages again. One cell was at 3.80, and the other was at 3.07. I am pretty sure this isn't normal, and something is about to go very wrong. If you have any thoughts, please help.

Is the battery ballooning? What setup are you running your pede in? What kind of charger are you using? Have you ran in water yet?

the battery is not ballooning. It is running 9/54 gearing and everything else stock. I'm using the traxxas ez peak plus and have not ran in water with the lipo yet.

I just got a new battery on the warranty for the old one. I checked voltages to start and they were where they are supposed to be at 3.8. I charged it and one is at 4.06, the other is at 3.84. Is it possible that something is wrong with the charger?

Yeah, it is in LiPo Balance charge mode, and it will try to charge the entire time until it times out. I continually check voltages and the one cell will vary from 3.96 volts when charged, and drop to 3.71 when discharged. It won't go past that

You'll have to trouble shoot if it is the battery or the charger. Do you have another lipo to test with? If it behaves the same then it is the charger. If not, then the battery.

Contact Traxxas and see what they have to say.

I do not have another LiPo to test it with. I figure it must be the charger though, because there is no way that I got 2 bad LiPos in a row.
