Hi, last night i lost my alias and we looked for 5 hour until it was pitch black looking for the little led in back.
It's been raining all night and there's no chance of trying anymore. I'm getting a new one but what color is the easiest to spot. I'm thinking white.
Thanks Michael

Get the Latrax LED light bar .. you'll not even notice the color with that installed.

Blue is horrible at night, it vanishes very fast into a black sky.

Hemidoo's response is really the only solution for those that take flight in the night. Once the Alias is a couple hundred ft up and out it doesn't matter what colors you choose, the blend causing potential loss of copter. The light bar can only be seen when Alias is pointed directly at you.
How much run time does the LED light bar eat up?
Fair enough. Well you have my response, at least. It's not based upon personal experience, but what can you do?

The easiest color to spot is a color you can see. And honestly, i still havent figured out why hunters buy every single thing they use when their hunting in camouflage patterns. I hunt quite a bit, and it amazes me just how much cool, very expensive stuff I find with a camo pattern on the surface. Realtree, etc, it might not fool animals but it definately works on humans. Going on a hunt, and leaving a $4500 FLIR thermal monocular because you hid hit from your own self and you put it there in the first place. Thats as good as invisibility. Impressive, no doubt.
