    Video Equipment

Hey guys, I'm just wondering what you all use to shoot videos of your X-maxx? Do you just set up tripods, or use head gear? Do you use Go Pro? All I have right now is my phone, & would like to get something not too expensive, but also takes good quality videos. Thanks.

I have used various models of Gopro cameras and regular digital cameras but after picking up a couple Runcam-2-HD cameras I think they are awesome for RC hobby use. They shoot excellent video up to 1080p 60fps, and can be used as a fpv camera with the included video-out harness while recording your adventures with no noticeable lag and powering them via lipo. I have them on two of my trucks and really like them. Here is a video shot with one while using it to drive fpv.

I've been using a GoPro Hero 5 Black which seems to do a pretty good job (it's my first video camera so I have nothing to compare it to). I shoot some stuff on a tripod, some with head gear, and I've also stuck a mount on the top of my controller as well. Then I just patch the good bits together using "iMovie" on my Mac.
