    Question 4tec 2.0

    put the high speed gear in my new 4tec r u suppose to leave motor in stock position someone please enlighten me

    Yes. It goes in a different letter hole. The manual has a chart.

    Be careful not to run Hi Speed for long times you will burn up the motor... Hi Speed is good for short speed runs I would be safe to say no more than 120 yards little over a football fields length & allow your motor to cool between speed runs

    I had my motor lil' over 200 degrees with the stock gearing just drifting around in the garage.

    thanks for the reply i only run my 4tec up and down my street from one end to another its 5 tenths of a mile and the other spot is a brand new slick new asphault parking lot
