Nice clean pass. Remind me what motor you're running.

Thanks, I'm not done yet. This run was on a old set of batteries. TP4070 esc killer version.

It's the kv that makes it a esc killer, that big of a can with that high kv pulls a lot of amps. Haven't checked my logs yet, but on 3/4s runs I pulled over 330amps. Cap pack helps keep my ripple down, but amp draw is still pretty big lol.

Fastest I knew of was a 81mph pass. To my knowledge I'm the fastest on 2s with a rustler now.

What'll it do with a single battery, ever tried that. I'd assume a similar speed.

It'll be slower, I have used single battery for runs and still got some good speeds, but nothing like running parallel.

Then the KV rating of a motor is not just RPM's per volt. I understand your current draw can be much more, making more power in watts. I would've assumed you could get one run of a similar speed with a single battery. But then again you're testing not me. I've never even run my 2650 on anything less than 4S. I have a 3S with the right plug. I should try it.

Running parallel gives me a bigger supply of available power. When I very first got this motor I only did 72mph on 3s and had a lot of trouble out of it. Learned about running parallel and went out and tried that, my speed increased from 72mph to 90mph on 3s, same gear, tire, etc. Just depends on people's setups, but on lower voltage runs parallel will help out.

I know a guy who got 71 with a 7700kv motor on a single 2S. As the General will attest, that's a very long way from 100. A single 4S geared 34/34 got me 98.8mph.

Dang, that's a high kv. Another guy that's on our group is running 81mph on 2s with a castle 2200 setup. He was the fastest that I know on 2s with a rustler.

Meh. Says who. Of course you are running 100 mph on 2s. I'm curious what your temps are after a couple runs.

Yes it does lol, but I can easily go make 100mph passes when I want now so it gets the job done lol. It's also allowed me to have the fastest 2/3/4s powered rustler on the internet as well.

I can knock out 100+ and look good doing it. I don't challenge the facts stated above either.
You're one of the guys that got me to build my car for what it is. Don't take offense to me. I only meant you have to choose wheels wisely because of that monster

No offense taken at all. I like your rustler it's a very clean and fast build. I have 3 sets of wheels I use. I'm back on grps for these 2s runs since Im faster with grp.

I will eventually break down and get some grp's. I do hate most of them(looks wise). I'm gonna order some foams from your boy from banana Skinz. Just need to find the right wheels to send him. My Jaco purples do very well. Unless the surface is too smooth or has any debris. Then, well
    You know. Like glass

Wash them in sink with soap and they'll grip. It's what I do with mine. Yea grps aren't very pretty lol. He has stopped making speed foams for this year, he just announced that earlier, he's only doing drag and carpet foams now.
