Will I melt spurs on 2s stock

Hello guys. I'm been on the forum for a couple weeks now. I have had a major problem since I was young. If I overcome these problems I can pick out any Traxxas truck around 500$. I usually pay for my own cars (which I have 10 of) for the past two years. When I ran my E Maxx brushless on 6s I ruined the slipper clutch because I didn't tighten it. I will be running my slash on a 2s lipo 7600mah 25c Traxxas battery. If I run the car stock will It ruin the slipper? Or should I tighten it ahead of time?

    Thanks, Michael.

Never hurts to tighten up the slipper.

    Hello Michael,

Along with the wheel nuts, I usually try to put a wrench on it and make sure it's tight before a good bashing. On 2S, your slipper's life should be a pretty easy one.

Tighten the slipper nut all the way and then back it out 1/8 to 1/4 turn, and you should be good to go.
