Welcome to the forums! if I were you I would spend the extra money on the 3.3 instead of the 2.5, you wont be sorry if you do. All of the parts you listed will work on your nitro rustler. I cant view the pics you posted so I don't know of anything else to do other than if you break a part and (in most cases) can get RPM then buy it to replace.

Oh my gosh it's one of the ORIGINAL rustlers! I don't see anything wrong with the chassis so I wouldn't change it, because the grey chassis rustlers are nearly impossible to find. Something else to think about would be servos, the 2018 is a little under powered for a steering servo, I would go with either a savox or a spectrum. If you're gonna go with either a 2.5 or a 3.3 you're probably going to want tires too but the ones you have will probably work for a while. Please keep us posted and the link works btw.

I did the 3.3 swap to my .15 rustler and it woke it up for sure. You can get the 3.3 off eBay for same price and the conversion kit for cheaper too. Along with the 3.3 I did the controller with the tsm setup. And up graded the front end so it could take wheels with the hex in it. And a jato wheelie bar
