A friend called tonight, he needs help with his Telluride. From what he described it sounds like a spur or differential is blown.


Telluride parts I don't have! BUT slash 4x4 parts I DO have!!

Can you telluride experts confirm if Slash 4x4 Spur and differential will drop into the Telluride?

Diffs are the same, only one that should be different are the brushed 4x4 Pede, which is geared shorter because of the taller tires (and a direct swap into the Telluride ) The pinion, spur, and slipper might be different, mine has an 83t 48p spur and 12t pinion like you would find on the 2wd trucks, a special slipper assembly that uses the friction pad from the 1/16 trucks, and I think the shaft it's all on is the same on all the vehicles on 4wd platform. I thought the pinion, slipper, and spur changed on the brushed 4wd Pede to the brushless parts, but I don't know if the Telluride ever did.

Thanks I installed a new pinion and spur gear into the telly from a slash 4x4 and worked great!!

Had to install both to match pitch. 32 on slash and 48 on telly.
