Thumbs up Hot Racing parts are now available !

In case anyone has missed it or did not know it, Hot Racing has been adding new products for the TRX4.
I thought I'd throw this out there for anyone interested or that did not know. Might want to bookmark
that site, as hot of an item the TRX4 has become I'm sure they'll be adding more items as time goes on.

Are these heavier than the MFR portals available? Says they are 42g, can't find anything on MFR.

*edit* Nevermind. Found it. These are about 41-41g each hub, the MFR are closer to 26. If weight is what you want, these seem to be a better option. About $10 more than the MFR covers, though.

I just did the math in ounces and the HR are significantly heavier but no where as nice looking. I would have to see pics of them installed before i would make a decision.

factory cover each = .1268 oz
MFR cover each = .9237 oz
HR cover each = 1.4815 oz

i can see those causing a lot of wheel fitment issues for people. a lot of 1.9 rims out there just barely clear the portal cover as is

Are those just knock offs of Hot Racing hubs? They don't seem to be affiliated with Hot Racing, plus HR don't have any in stock yet.

Also, $90 seems steep for that! Though putting the 50g up front and 40 in the rear would be a good combo I think.

The MFR portals are much better looking IMO.

MFR has the lower suspension links in brass.

They are working on the C-hubs now and then they will be doing the inner half of the portals.
These would be other ways of adding weight if your wheel limits what outer portal cover can be used.

I'm super excited to try the HR brass portals. It would be cool to see HR axle C's or even brass axle covers.
Is owning 27 RC's too many? No way!
