Only concern is how to mount the useless switch.

Any ideas for a wheelie bar?

For anyone wondering, its the ElSob classic funny car motor, Mamba Monster 2 esc, and 2 5000 mah 2s lipos.

Other mods include, 20% stronger springs on stock shocks, XO-1 differentials front and rear, MIP xDuty axles front and rear, proline trencher tires, and Velcro battery hold down, stock main gear, 18 tooth motor gear.

It was already fast on 3s why not try 4s, or 5s?

Just cut the switch off and solder the wires together.

RPM makes a wheelie bar, and so does traxxas. I run the RPM wheelie bar with the traxxas wheels (they have bearings and actual rubber). I have a 2200kv setup, and one more thing you'll need is 17mm adapters, I personally run hot racing 10mm offsets. Have fun!!

I know mip makes a 17mm adapter but I dont think I get a choice off offset?

They key to the 12mm MIP hex like a wheel does, then the inner hex nut holds them onto the axle and gives them some support. I've looked at those too since I run the MIP's that have the slotted shafts vs a shaft with a hole in it for a pin.

Ah, got it. Thank you for the clarification. I wont have 17mm wheels till my prolines smooth out. Then ill be on to some terrain crushers.

I have run both the 6 and 10mm offsets on my basher with MIPs. No problems with either set.

Gotta give it to the guy who started it. Thank you for trying the odd combo to make it easier for us.

The best part about the motor and esc is I have 130 bucks invested. Love me some eBay.

Any idea the offset to fit the terrain crushers. The ballooning is just hilarious

Curious how it does with the jumps. Mine with a smaller 1/10th scale system and a 7200mah 2S pack slaps the ground pretty hard. I'm running relatively stiff springs with 80 or 90 weight oil in the shocks.

I'd have to guess running 1/8th scale electronics and the extra weight for 2x2S or 1x4S really makes it land hard. Or do you not hit much big air with these when setup this way?

I launch it threw the air like I want to break it. I have stiffer springs and stock oil. It handles it like a champ so far. Other than destroying the stock axles I havent had to fix anything else.

I have installed xo-1 differentials, and mip drive shafts. Other than that I never ever take it easy, full throttle or no throttle!

That's surprising. Mine hits the ground so hard that it flexes the chassis enough to drive the pinion into the spur and ruin the spur. The mesh was fine before and after the landing, so the motor wasn't sliding, the chassis was bending. The last 2 spurs I ruined were after installing the king headz motor brace/mount. I was running 70w oil at the time. I think I'm running 80w now and I also got the traxxas heavy duty motor plate in hopes that it removes some of the flex.

Mine for 80% of its life has had the 2.8 trenchers and that really keeps the body off the ground. In fact I set the suspension at max compression so the body can't contact the ground.

Lost another tire yesterday and guided her in at full speed into a Cadillac escalade tire. It moved the motor and broke the Lipo straps from whatever company I bought it from. So reset the motor mesh, put on new tire and back on the road. Ive been stupid lucky, haven't destroyed the body or frame parts.
