    New to me rally/slash

I picked this up yesterday. I cleane it up nice and good. But it runs very hot, 196 hot. The gears are 19/54. I was running it in the back in grass, looks like I need new gears and a motor mount and or bearing. This thing is a blast run tho it handles way better than I imagine.

Looks good, but 19/54 is way to high for the Velinion. I would drop down to a 15 and see how the temps are.

    Nice find,

I thought so, I might stop by my lhs and pick up a 15 pinion. This was a crazy find for me.

Can any body tell me what chassis this is with a part number please. When I bought it the ad said slash 4x4 lcg. Then when I met up with the guy he told me it started out as a traxxas rally vxl. From what I read the only changes are the bumpers and body mounts and post. So by changing the those few things does it really make it a slash 4x4 lcg?
