It does replace the aluminum one and isn't used with the center diff.

Speaking of slipper clutch throwout bearing seized up
Not sure if it was dirt or if it just overheated and expanded

    Wrong picture?
Got the rear end almost stripped down and cleaned. Bagging the different parts with their screws. Disassembling the MiP rear axles was no fun lol. Lots of sand. I like the simplicity of the Teknos I have on front. Looks like this will be a nice fall project. I may be avoiding sandy beaches from now on. Lol

Sure is! All the bearings so far in the rear hub carrier and diff need replaced. The ones in the hubs I did last winter I think. Diffs.. theyíre the originals and the truck will be 3 next May. Oops. Lol

I wonít be playing in sand again until itís time for a strip down. Sheesh.
Time to pick out some some bearings and seals.

Finally destroyed my body lol. Ordered the black Proline F100 to save myself some time painting. Snow is around the corner. Also rounded out a wheel, so I ordered a pair of new Mashers for the rear, since the wear is still good on The other ones. I like that the hubs are now replaceable on the new ones since the tires last so long.
Had a little issue with the gear cover not sitting right in a couple spots with the King Kingheadz motor mount. Almost as if the cover is warped, but its new. It let some debris in and stripped out my spur gear in 2 runs. The gaps are about 2mm. Never happened with the old setup. Any ideas? For now I put down some silicone and placed the cover on. Works good for now.
