ESC blinking green - read manual and google still no luck

When I go through the steps to calibrate esc nothing happens - steering works and no throttle. When I pull trigger forward for reverse after 2nd red light nothing happens - no green light or any lights come back on esc. The steering works but no throttle

    New batteries
Its in lipo mode with lipo battery
    Ive reset everything
    checked wires for damage
    esc is in channel 2

    any other suggestions ?

If you installed the Link app on your phone or other device,
Delete the app, warning; you will lose all save items in the app.

Reset the Transmitter to factory defaults and then Bind it to the Receiver

    1. Turn off Transmitter
    2. Press and Hold both Menu and Set
    3. Turn on Transmitter
    4. Release both buttons
    5. Transmitter now blinks Red
    6. Press Set
    7. LED is now Green
    8. Transmitter should now be at factory defaults

Bind to Receiver, do the following

    9. Turn off Transmitter and Receiver
    10. Open the Receiver box
    11. Press and Hold Set button on Transmitter and turn it on
    12. Transmitter LED will flash red slowly - Release the Set button
    13. Press and Hold Receiver Link button (This is inside the Receiver box)
    14. Turn on Truck
    15. Release Link button
    16. Transmitter and Receiver LED should now be solid Green. (Transmitter and Receiver are Green, this not concern the ECS yet)
    17. Confirm steering works.

If this did not Bind the transmitter and receiver, try this:

    a. Turn off Transmitter and Receiver
    b. Press and Hold Receiver Link button
    c. Turn on Truck
    d. Release Link button
    e. Press and Hold Set button on Transmitter and turn it on

    18. Apply small amount of silicon grease to the Receiver gasket
    19. Be sure everything in Receiver box is plugged in and wires are not pinched
    20. Replace Receiver cover.
    21. Install the app
    22. Link the Bluetooth

What radio? 95% of the time I couldn't get a Flysky to properly calibrate the ESC and it had the symptoms you describe.
