Where and how do you store you rc cars?

This is where I put my RCs but my wife is not happy with it so it has to be put away somewhere else. Any ideas?

Ok I don't see what is wrong with the picture, maybe I'm missing something, lol. Tell her you will make space for them in the kitchen cabinets, see how that goes. I wish I had a dedicated room for my stuff, bikes, rc's. My space is more of a mess than anything. The rc's sit in the basement on a table with the tool boxes and stuff around it. One day I would like a spot for my toys.

Your setup looks fine to me aswell lol. You can try moveing the trucks to her side of the bed and see how she likes that lol. Im lucky to have a spare bedroom my wife let me turn into a full on hobby shop. I have so much packed into there that she doesent even realize when i add more stuff its great lol. I have shelfs all the way up 1 wall for trucks and another wall is full of spare parts another wall has all my fpv and drone gear and the 4th wall is full of rc posters and i have a work table in the middle. The closet in that room holds my fishing and hunting gear. Its my favorite place in my house

It all depends on where you have room, I re-arranged some stuff in the garage and staked out a corner of the garage as mine.

If you are creative enough, any free space can be a new workshop.

For me there is no room in the house. She tried to make some room in the coat closet but that will not work. My work bench is our dinning table. So it sounds like I need to make some room in the garage. The down side to me is that it a detach with no heat and honestly I would hate if some broke in and take my rc stuff.

I took over my oldest daughter's room when she moved out..including a desk that serves as a workbench. When she comes home to visit she shares the room with my RCs......she's fine with it!...lol My dog lays on the bed while I wrench on them and she gets really excited when I plug in a pack on the charger, she knows it's play time!!

I guess I can put my 5 year old daughter with her 2 brothers in 1 room and when the baby is born he can sleep in our room lol. I'm going to start to clean up the garage today and see how far I get.

We have considered that, but not because we have no for my rc stuff. If we did get another house with an extra room it would probably be a "guest room"

The "guest room" can be your workshop, it just means you have to be able to pack up all your R/C stuff quick if a guest comes over.

So if I wait for my daughter to move out I got 3+ years for her to move out to turn her room into my hooby room good grief. I do get sick and tired of pulling my rc's and stuff out just to work on them. One day I'll have a spot somewhere.

I'm lucky to have a big two-car garage with an added shop. I installed shelving to put my trucks on.

With three spare bedrooms we should have plenty of room in the house, but one room is the guest room, one is her sewing room, and there is this room...

Head on over to harbor freight and pick up a $18 shelf. Fits a s slash 4x4 perfectly. If you cant get to a harbor freight I'm sure your local Walmart or equivalent would have one.

Great Scott that garage area looks great! I started with a 2 car and it wasn't big enough so I did this:

Still not big enough. Like they say, the more garage you have the more "stuff" you collect...lol

I could see working with that to free up some space. That area above the workbench would be a perfect spot to put some brackets for your RCs. Plus I see a bunch of room up high that could be used, of course at 6'5", I tend to use all of the vertical space I can.

In the same area I have pictured I also have three work benches, two full-sized ATVs and a generator; plus all of the Christmas and Halloween stuff. After 20+ years as a submariner, I have learned how to pack 20 lbs of stuff into a 5 lbs sack.

This is what I came up with for now. It's a little more organized now that I have some shelves, and now I have room for at least 1 more rcmaybe 2

Possibly get a heater for the detached garage? I have the same problem with no room for my 3 Traxxas'. My parents prefer that they stay in the garage, so I'm going to have to clean the garage out just like you. Well, I hope you get your Garage setup. I love these type of threads because they give me lots of ideas with my Traxxas'.

Well for sure I will get the garage cleaned up and maybe look into adding some heat some day. It's been a crazy few month getting ready for a new baby hear in 3 weeks. So I might have to take a break from rc car maybe. Starting this thread was very inspiring and did give me some ideas, thank you for posting pictures and your thoughts. Keep posting if you have more pictures or ideas.

Usually i store my cars in garage sometime in bedroom. Recently i brought a New Revo car and from local online store its performance is best and iam fully satisfied with it and also applied discounted Halloween promo code.

Sad part is, I have space at the top, so I MUST have another rig to fill in the gap. Would look out of balance.
