    STRC LCG Chassis Kit.....still available?

Looking at their website it says out of stock. Has it been permanently discontinued?

I had been wondering this myself. I sent an email and heard no response and it's a week.

STRC has never responded to one of my emails. If you get a response from them I will be surprised.

One of our members (Wyd) seems to know Steve Wang (STRC founder), but he has not been on here in a while.
Maybe Er33 knows him as well?

Here's Wyd's thread (all the pics on it are now gone...

Anyone have STRCs phone number? It isn't listed on the site and I've tried email and Facebook. No luck.

I have that chassis. I like it a lot. They build in batches I think and it should come up again.

Yeah I figured it was batches. But. I can't reach anyone there and they won't return an email or a phone call. So I gave up and will run my slash how it is. I did a Tekno and I do like it. Way heavier than the slashes for sure.

My personal advice is to buy the SSC chassis. I have one and love it. The designer/builder is currently in the final stages of manufacturing a new batch. I've had such a drastic improvement in my LCG that I have sold my wife's Losi with the MIP chassis. The follow up customer service is second to none. The owner is always quick to answer any setup questions I have. You can find it on the web or Facebook at Shining Star Chassis.

How do these two chassis compare to the stock lcg chassis in terms of weight?

The SSC chassis is spectacular! I use it on my gt8. I think it is lighter than stock. They posted on Facebook the other day under 6lbs(track ready). But that is with their shock towers and setup as a buggy. They make it to compete in 1/8 buggy which is very competitive and rough on rigs. I'm getting another as soon as they come up for sale.

Does SSC still make the v2.5F, I sent them a few emails and have not got any replies and their website says it is out of stock and has been for some time.

I have the STRC chassis. It's quite good. I bought mine last November, so almost a year now. Back then is was cheaper and they upped the price. I assume they will make another batch

ssc is in the process of fabricating more chassis. i follow them on facebook and he post updates pretty regular with different testing he is doing. mostly on the shock towers because he has been pretty firm on saying he's done tweaking the chassis design.
he also posts pics of the chassis as they are being fabricated. i saw one of the bottom plate with piles and piles of them, so it won't be too long. trust me i'm waiting too so i can scoop up a couple more.
