    Motor won’t go!

I was driving me stampede 4x4 in the grass when all of the sudden it stopped. The motor won’t spin. There is no debris in the motor. I tried restarting the truck, cleaning the motor and changing the battery but nothing worked. What do you think happened? Motor burnt out? ESC failure?

Do you have a light come on on the esc? If no light with a charged battery I'd say your esc went bye bye. If you do have a solid light on then it'll be your motor. Or could be bad connection

Yes the esc acts normal and all light are behaving as they should. Im pretty sure it’s the motor now.

Have you confirmed the bananna plugs didn't come loose by accident? Mine were so loose they would fall apart with a light touch, out of the box, so I got some pliers and closed them a nudge, doesn't fall apart now.

I would not be surprised at all if that titan is toast. They burn up fairly easily.

I agree. When my son got his a long time ago it didn't last long either so we upgraded to brushless

    Ah, brushless!

More RC math: Stampede 4x4 + Castle Mamba Monster X ESC + Castle 2650kv motor +3S LiPo = one happy hobbyist!

There are some cheaper brushless systems out there that members use. My first motor/esc upgrade cost me a tad over 100 and the motor is still being used in my sons vehicle

Go with a hobbywing WPSC8 with a castle motor, it will be the same thing just cheaper, however don't buy no name ebay motors. I will soon have a thread up on why.
