Put together a slash 4x4 for the wifey

Long story short, I had my wife use my slash 4x4 and now she is hooked. Built a slash 4x4 for her with identical parts to mine. She will be using it in its rally version but it looks cool on the grp tires.

Wow looks good... with that body do u think 2.2/3.0 fit without rubbing? Thinking of making an on-road body styled off-roading rally vehicle.
What is its part number too!!

Street car look is awesome. Alittle low for any real driving without being a street sweeper but looks great sitting there.

    Hey Miltdog,

Congrats! I wish I could get my wife on board. Every time I let her drive one of mine, I find myself holding my breath in anticipation of something ominous! I have used Castle Link to limit power but it's still scary. She needs an open field with nothing to run into!

It'd be great to see a pic or something of her driving the you-know-what out of it! We need more ladies in the hobby!

    Thanks fellas!!!

So we went out this past Saturday for a bash session, it definitely tripped me out she did not want to run the porsche body to preserve its looks. She also is getting the hang of jumping and flipping the truck.

I hear you LOL, my wife has a pede and she really enjoys it.
The only thing I can't seem to teach her is push the trigger forward to brake, she panics and throws her hands up yelling "OH NO"; what ever the oh no was is usually the brake.

Good for her! I'm happy that she appreciates all the work you have done. Did she clean the mud off of her truck? How do you like those B.F. Goodrich tires?

Those wheels and tires were the best that I have used as far as them being stock from another brand.

Serviced the truck and changed things around.

My wife won't even look at my trucks. NO sure if that's a good or bad thing though.

I don't have to worry about a wife yet, but my friends are always asking to drive when I have my rustler out. They have occasional problems staying off the street. They've only seen me drive it on the road, and don't know how flippy it gets there.

I guess my version of a wife is the weather. It tells me when I can drive and I have to listen!
